US Uniform - M1942 Frog Skin Beach

The US WW2 Frog Skin camouflage uniform was a reversable design with a jungle pattern on one side and the Beach colors in Frog Skin pattern on the other. Frog Skin is detailed and complex 4-color pattern that is difficult to paint by hand. The Frog Skin Beach decal consists of 3 colors to be used over a tan base to create the desired end result. 



This is a simple way to quickly get great results for a very complicated pattern.

Paint your surface tan. The pattern is printed on a thin clear waterslide decal sheet. In the camo image, areas that are white or baby blue will actually be clear and see-through, so the base color will show through. The decal is thin and will layer over contours, however, you may wish to add decal softener when conditions warrant. Once in place, remove excess moisture and add some decal setting solution to affix it in place and let dry.
